Very convenient. We visited the Preston Haunted Castle in Ione and the Haunted Forest in Plymouth. These are some of the scariest Halloween attractions in Northern California. This area is beautiful all year round. Christmas is also a wonderful time to visit Amador County. Live music, wine tasting, little unique shops, excellent restaurants, beautiful scenery, great activities, and gold rush history. Kraig’s apartment is clean and private. There’s a lovely restaurant across the street and a brew pub two doors down. This is a wonderful area and Kraig’s place is a great value.

Cute spot right in downtown Ione which has a couple cute restaurants and a coffee shop and a bar/pub. Also centrally located to other great areas, and very close to the Preston Castle which we went to for the Halloween Haunt event which I would definitely recommend!

Kraig’s apartment above the Post Office in Ione is perfect if you’re looking for a place in the center of town. We were in town for an event at nearby Preston Castle, and were able to walk there from the apartment. We did have an issue with the AC, but were able to easily move across the hall to another open unit. The process was really smooth, and everything went great from there. Thank you Kraig and family for your responsiveness and flexibility! We hope to be back next time.

Super great host. There were some things that happened that were out of human control, and Kraig did all kinds of extra work to make us happy. We really appreciate him.
